Fox News Promoting Children’s Books Stuffed with Tales of Trump’s Successes as President

Does Fox enjoy its standing as still being outside “the mainstream media”? We are having to wonder now because some in the Trump camp are deeply concerned that “the mainstream media” treated poor president Trump so badly (worse than Lincoln) that they need to make special efforts to get the important news out.

We have previously noted that Trumpism – according to several sociologists – had a lot of the same characteristics of movements that become a religion, and that movement just took another step in having a friendly group (Huckabee’s education company) create a set of books we most often see with various religions, children’s books beginning the teachings of Christianity (as just a familiar example).

Move over books about Jesus speaking about loving everyone, treating strangers nicely, the prodigal son, or the disciples feeling fear during the storm and get ready for books on ventilators, “we do so much testing,” tax cuts, and “Three Is a Magic Number” when it comes to SCOTUS justices:

Fox News aired a commercial for a children’s book about the accomplishments of former President Donald Trump, which is being offered by Mike Huckabee’s “education company.”

“The mainstream media has been no friend to President Trump, and they’ll never admit that he did a great job leading our country and making the changes that America needs,” the website states.

“But, as future voters, our children and grandchildren deserve to understand the truth about President Trump and what made him a great president.” Furthermore, the guide claims it will educate children about Trump’s 2016 election and policy accomplishments in an “unbiased” nature.

We would prefer an adult book on what, exactly, made Trump a great president. We haven’t seen many of those yet. We have mostly read tell alls from staff members and they are, at best, mixed, on whether Trump was “great.”

They really are becoming increasingly like a religion. Maybe Fox is more CBN than CBS.
